I was so chuffed when Jodie & Sean asked me to shoot their wedding. I’d been to Borough Market a million times before (there was a point in time when I would make a special twice monthly pilgrimage for a certain chorizo ciabatta), but never in a million years thought I’d be shooting there. And I’m so glad I did – with it’s big open space surrounded by natural light and foliage, it’s an absolute photographer’s dream. Not to mention Jodie & Sean had it decorated perfectly, with area rugs and twinkling ambient lighting.
What can I say about Jodie and Sean themselves? These guys were so much fun. When my coverage ended, as I wheeled my camera bag away, I could overhear tourists huddled outside wondering how they could get in to what was clearly an immense party.
