WEDDING // Jo & Jeremy’s Buxted Park Wedding

Jo & Jeremy were married a few months ago in Buxted Park, a gorgeously elegant venue in East Sussex.  Built in the 1700s, it’s set in 312 acres of parkland and is a beautiful backdrop for a day of celebration and joy.  Many thanks to Lisa Devlin for having me along to second shoot this one.

For more photos please go have a look at Lisa’s blog.

FEATURED // Neon Love shoot featured on Rock n Roll Bride!

I’m pleased as punch to be sharing this styled shoot I photographed for Want That Wedding in December.    Considering she only had less than a couple of weeks to pull it all together, I think Sonia of WTW did the most amazing job in styling this up – I’m not sure I could have done half the job she did!  We wanted to do something a little bit different, something a little bit bold and bright, so a neon sign, neon food colouring and a few multi-coloured pom poms later, here’s what we came up with….

I’ve just blogged a selection of photos from the shoot so please pop on over to Want That Wedding to see the rest and to read Sonia’s write up about her inspirations behind it all.  Alternatively, the shoot’s also just been featured on Rock n Roll Bride so you can have a squiz there too if you haven’t had enough of neon wonderfulness.

A big thank you to the fabulous team involved. Honestly, I can’t say enough how much I adore the work of Gemma and Jo (our wonderful make up artist and hair stylist), they really are top of their game.  Also thank you to One Marylebone for letting us shoot in their Galleries – I’m totally in love with that venue and if you’re a bride getting married in London you really need to go check it out.  And those gorgeous frocks and accessories don’t really need any words, do they? Just please go check out Kitty & Dulcie, OhMyHoney, Kelly Spence and our other lovely vendor’s sites and you will fall instantly in love.  Full credit list below so set aside a good hour to click away!  Last but never least, a big thanks to Cris and Mel for assisting on the day. x

FIRST LOOK // Jo & Jeremy’s Buxted Park Wedding

Happy new year!! I hope the first week of 2012 has been good to everyone? I’ve been busy working hard on lots of bits and bobs (including a new website – watch this space!) though I have to confess I’ve missed my camera a little over the past couple of weeks.

Today I wanted to share a sneak peek with you – yes, even though I’ve not really been known to be a massive fan of them (I think it’s just the phrase “sneak peek” which grates on my ears for some reason, maybe we can come up with another one?) .  But I’m told you guys like them, whatever they’re called, so we’re peeking away :)

Jo & Jeremy’s wedding is one I second shot for the super lovely Lisa Devlin at Buxted Park a few weeks ago.   It was one of those golden days, that us photographers love so much.  And for good reason, I absolutely love this sundrenched moment.  And isn’t that a gorgeous bouquet?

PERSONAL // Vietnam

Wow – how did it get to the end of 2011?! I’m not going to do a highlights post for you I’m afraid – mainly because this year has been pretty all round awesome and I think it would probably be a near impossible task to sum it up in one little post. :)  What I’m going to do instead is a little post with a few pretty pictures of my recent trip to Vietnam.  It’s such a big, wide world full of such wonderful and beautiful things – I hope to experience more of it in 2012.
