WEDDING // Teresa & Daniel’s Sicilian Wedding

Having been to Sicily once before, it was such a treat to head back last September to photograph Teresa & Daniel’s wedding at Commenda di San Calogero.  What a brilliant wedding and what a magical way to celebrate, in a place  that sits nestled in orange groves, surrounded by sea and sunshine.

I can’t even begin to tell you how hard it was to whittle down the selection of moments for this blog post.  It was such a joyful occasion and Teresa & Daniel had put so much heart and soul into it – from Teresa’s incredible veil, to the hand dyed shibori scarves for all the female guests, the picnic reception, and the fact that the whole thing was catered spectacularly by their talented foodie friends.

WEDDING // Sheena + Tom’s Hackney City Farm Wedding

Sheena & Tom are just the loveliest, happiest and most interesting people you could ever hope to meet.  When we were chatting about their wedding plans, it soon became clear that it was going to be a really fun, warm, happy day.   Not only did the reception take place in the utterly brilliant Hackney City Farm, but they decided to have a secret dance flashmob during drinks in Hoxton Square featuring professional dancers and some confused but delighted guests.  Amazing.  Lovely Sheena was sporting a beautiful bump at the wedding and her Minna dress suited her PERFECTLY.  I’m such a fan of Minna dresses, aren’t you? Oh, and not to mention a beautiful floral crown!

My favourite part of the day was actually walking from the church to the Farm with Sheena & Tom and a handful of guests who helped carry bits and bobs.  It was a gorgeous afternoon and as we thronged our way through Shoreditch I managed to grab some of my favourite photos.

WEDDINGS // Camilla & Arthur’s Brixton East Wedding

I’ve only met Camilla & Arthur a few times since they booked me to photograph their wedding, but in that time I learnt a few things about them.

Firstly, they have immaculate style – everything about their wedding looked absolutely phenomenal (as you’ll soon see). From Camilla and her Federica Bruno dress, to the venue Brixton East, or the florals by Jay Archer Floral Design – it was all a joy to photograph.

Secondly, they’re absolutely lovely people.  You can just tell that these two are so loved by all their friends & family.

And thirdly, by God they really know how to throw a party.

Thank you so much guys for having me along to be a small part of your day, it was an absolute blast! xx

WEDDING // Clare & Chris’ Islington Metalworks Wedding

Claire and Chris’ wedding was so much fun. I loved Claire’s gorgeous 60’s style, Chris’ dance moves and the riot of colour they used to decorate the Islington Metalworks. In fact, I think Claire said that her inspiration was “Andy Warhol’s Factory”, a scheme that worked an absolute treat in one of my favourite London venues.  Special mention must go to Chris’ nan who I think was the first, and probably the last, on the dancefloor.
